Stress at Work

Job stress has been found that must or increase in the developed and developing countries (Cooper, Dewe, & O 'Driscoll, 2001). The walk to both labor and cost reduction has resulted in fewer people doing more work and feel more insecure in their jobs. In addition, the rapid expansion of information technology through the Internet, cell phones and other wireless technologies such as BlackBerry, has accelerated the pace of work and created a demand for an immediate response to requirements of work 24 hours per day.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

A disease caused by immune complexes. Immune complexes are produced when an antibody response to a soluble antigen. Since the immune response progresses, greater immune complexes formed leading to the activation of complement, activated components that bind to the complexes. These are then efficiently cleared by binding to receptor 1 (CR1) on erythrocytes, the immune complexes across to the liver and spleen form.
