Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic blushing and redness response in key areas of the face. It is usually associated with an acneiform component (papules, pustules, and oily skin). It usually occurs in people of middle age and older. Cheeks, nose and chin, full face, can have a pink hue. Burning or tingling often accompany episodes of flushing. It is more prevalent than lupus erythematosus, which is often confused. Rosacea varies from age, presence of vascular component, and lack of comedones.
